Common Types of Compressors in Commercial refrigerator
Share
Currently, most commercial freezers utilize volumetric compressors, which can be divided into reciprocating and rotary types.
◆ Reciprocating Compressors: These are traditional compressors that use piston, crankshaft, and connecting rod mechanisms or piston, crankshaft, and slider-crank mechanisms.
◆ Rotary Compressors: These are modern compressors that use rotary shaft crank mechanisms. They can be further categorized based on their application scope as low back-pressure, medium back-pressure, and high back-pressure compressors.
Low back-pressure compressors (evaporation temperature -35 to -15℃) are generally used in household refrigerators, food freezers, etc.
Medium back-pressure compressors (evaporation temperature -20 to 0℃) are commonly used in cold drink cabinets, milk chillers, etc.
High back-pressure compressors (evaporation temperature -5 to 15℃) are typically used in room air conditioners, dehumidifiers, heat pumps, etc.
